OUR PROCESS

Since its foundation in April 2012, the original Baati / Paris method has been closely followed for the preparation of Carbon 60 olive oil. Our goal is to provide researchers with the same solution that was used to achieve the extraordinary results of this groundbreaking study.
We start with top quality ingredients: research grade Carbon 60 from the industry’s most respected source, SES Research. That starts at 99.95+% purity and the C60 is then vacuum oven dried to be completely solvent free.
We use the Kirkland brand, organic extra virgin olive oil. After an extensive study of olive oil quality, we found that small batches of extra virgin olive oil are notoriously inconsistent and the Kirkland brand is the best olive oil with the most consistent quality.
To obtain the maximum saturation of Carbon 60 in olive oil of 0.8 grams / liter, we mix 5 grams of Carbon 60 per liter of extra virgin olive oil as described in the Baati process. This ratio is more than 6 times the amount of Carbon 60 that can be dissolved. As very little Carbon 60 will dissolve in the 2 week mixing process, this is absolutely necessary.
We mix this combination for 2 weeks with special equipment that ensures that a suspension of Carbon 60 particles is formed. This takes place in complete darkness in a temperature controlled environment to prevent Carbon 60 from deteriorating due to light or heat. In the course of this process, the solution will turn a deep purple and gradually become fully saturated.
At the end of this process, the oil is centrifuged at 5000 G for one hour to remove the not dissolved Carbon 60. The liquid is then passed through a 0.22 micron filter.
Next the oil is bottled in dark glass bottles, sealed and packaged for transport to you. The packaging is very robust to avoid breakage. The bottle comes in a sturdy plastic bag and then in a cardboard box.
This level of quality takes time and money.
There are companies that value profit more than integrity and the health of their customers. This can be by using industrial grade Carbon 60 which contains dangerous contaminants. By using a process in which the Carbon 60 is insufficiently dissolved, skipping the filtration process, heating the olive oil in order to make the Carbon 60 dissolve faster which the oil.
A simple indication is the beautiful purple color that varies from pink-purple to lavender when a small amount is viewed in a glass.
We are the only company where an independent party has demonstrated that the Carbon 60 Olive oil is fully saturated with a concentration of 0.8 mg / ml. Proven quality
